Thursday, Year 2, Week 49

It's been a while since I've been able to do a post! I have been posting on a mobile smartphone and finally got a real notebook type computer. As you may know, that's a big step up for an older woman, especially since this is my first real computer and I'm nearly 67 years old!
I've been doing a whole lot of screwing up, which comes naturally to me, but, little by little the confidence is returning. Eventually I hope to be able to learn to dress up my blog with all the bell and whistle things like pictures and different colors and maybe even a few ads! Hopefully by the time next spring comes, my old leaky sponge head will absorb all the information I need to be able to do all the computing things that are second nature to the younger folks I know.
In the meantime, I have to say that it feels real good to be able to write my thoughts down after not being able to do so for a couple of weeks! When I was waiting for the new notebook to arrive, at times it felt like my poor old head would explode with anticipation. Luckily, it arrived before that happened.
I am going to get my garlic bed ready for planting in the next few days, so between that and trying not to accidentally erase the words I choose to post, this old woman is happy as a clam in butter to be back at the keyboard!
Missed you, keyboard, you help keep me from getting stale as well as giving me something to think about besides politics! See you again soon.
